Gotta love them!
Lillian is at such a fun age. She is learning new words every day and trying to copy what we say or at least points to the correct person/item we are talking about. She and Jocelyn are interacting more and more and can sometimes just play and laugh in their room together for a good 10 minutes. I know this seems small, but it really helps that I'm not on full time entertainment committee and really important for them to work things out amongst themselves. Jocelyn is really a good big sister most of the time which I really appreciate! After reading a book this week on Sibling Rivalry (Adele Faber & Elaine Mazlish) I am feeling armed and ready to promote a positive, healthy relationship between my children :) If I can just remember and apply everything I read...I'm sure this will be a life long project.

ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I think I sound exactly like Lillian whenever I see a dog on the street. Bjarni can't get me to focus on anything else until I've said, "Puppy" around 33 times as we pass (or not, usually I am determined to stop and make a new friend).
ReplyDeleteSecond, we were driving and hear the Glee cover of Journey the other day and laughed as we reminisced about how Jocelyn and I had a little duet in SF!
