OtterPops: Easter and Kid Pictures

We were so thrilled to have (my baby sister) Aunt Kelsey visit us for her spring break. She and a co-worker drove out here from Logan, UT and spent several days hanging out and using us as home base while they visited Santa Cruz, San Francisco, etc. We always love spending time with her. She brought nail polish and treated all of the girls to manicures, helped me with kiddos and even dyed Easter eggs with us. She left to return to UT for a job interview which she apparently rocked because she got the job and is moving to Salt Lake! It is just the type of job she wanted/needed and it worked out beautifully.

While Kelsey was visiting, she and her friend were good sports to come help me attempt these pictures of all four kids. I hired my friend Michelle to take them for us and I was very excited that we finally have some pictures of all four kids together! Last summer when we were doing family pictures they were WAY done by the time we got to kid pictures and they did not turn out at all.


Primary Activity

After Kelsey left we cleaned the house and prepared for our next shift of Spring Break visitors: The Lillywhites, Carters, Hogans and Otterstroms. In between all that the kids went to a church Easter activity talking about the last week of Jesus' life. They did a cute job on it and the kids had a fun time.

On Easter weekend (also General Conference weekend), the Otterstrom crew arrived for their Spring break. We had Gary & Diana and the carters arrive before everyone else, then everyone else began arriving so that most were able to be there by Easter and Claire's baby blessing. The Hogans followed everyone after that. We hosted Easter Brunch and had a cousin Easter egg hunt. Lillian and Jonas had school Easter egg hunts the week before that and I think finally by the end Emma was getting the hang of it all! The Easter bunny visited us Saturday morning so that we could just enjoy family and conference on Sunday.
