Jocelyn & Lillian, as I've mentioned before, have their good and bad times together. Sometimes they are so loving and kind to each other, and other times they can drive me crazy with how rude and mean they can be. Overall, I love that they have each other close in age. I love my sisters so much that I was thrilled when we found out that Lillian was going to be a girl during my pregnancy.
Jocelyn, of course, often takes the "mothering" role in helping Lillian since she is the older sister and this can be in positive ways "That's okay, Lilly, Sissy can help you" and in not so positive ways "Lilly, I told you NOT to play with my toy"(followed immediately by a grab or hit). And Lillian will often share generously and really looks up to Jocelyn, but that doesn't mean she avoids opportunities to say "NO Sissy" followed by a hit, or a chance to tease, or "No Talk to Me" with her finger pointing at Jocelyn. I hope they continue to learn from their relationship and that they continue to be fiercely loyal to each other when among other friends, and overall loving and uplifting! Here are a couple pictures of them recently that capture the different aspects of their relationship.
LOVE IT! LOVE SISTERS! Glad things get even better as you get older!
