What haven't we done?

I was trying to think of everything we’ve been up to lately, and it might be easier to say what we haven’t done because we’ve been so busy!  Here’s a quick rundown…
  • Attend family yoga and kindermusik classes.  Check
  • Take girls to swim lessons every afternoon for two weeks.  Check
  • Get my hair hacked off to chin length. Check
  • Days of swimming in the kiddie pool out back and eating popsicles. Check
  • Play date and picnic at the park with friends followed up by sunburns on everyone because mom wasn’t in summer mode yet. Check
  • Dentist appointments for both girls where Lilly had a freak out. Check
  • Get stung by a bee for the first time in my life and feel relieved it wasn't one of the kids. Check
  • Go to the movie theater on $1 kids day with popcorn & drink.  Check
  • Turn in all the paperwork for Jocelyn’s preppy K which included several trips to the doctor and elementary school for paperwork and TB test.  Check
  • Celebrate Jared’s 31st birthday by going out for Mexican food, seeing X-Men first class and having a chocolate Éclair cake. Check
  • Meet up with old friends for a fun day at the Discovery Museum. Check
  • Begin our “summer home school” and baby signs with another family along with the summer reading program at the library. Check
  • Host a BBQ with a couple families at our house for Memorial Day and enjoy the patriotic desserts and good weather. Check
  • Find a huge slide on the side of the road marked “free” and haul it home on top of the Saturn to add to our already crowded backyard.  Check
  • Plan a Chef’s Corner, Ice Cream Social & Cupcake Wars for the Church Women's group. Check
  • Stay up way too late every night reading (both Jared & Caitlyn). Check
  • Teach Jonas how to wave “hi” and practice propping up on all fours.  Check
  • Watch "Gnomeo & Juliet" on our projector and eat tons of popcorn with neighbor kids. Check
  • Have Jonas practically  wean himself because of distraction from nursing and near inhalation of rice cereal, veggies, and fruits.  Check
We got a family pass to the discovery museum and here are a few pictures from our adventures there in the past couple months.  The kids love it and never seem to be tired of going.  Once we get into the car, all three of them sack out within minutes...

  1. Sounds like a busy and fun summer. Way to go, how do you do it all? We have a pass to our children's museum as well, as does Bre, and we love it too. Fun fun.
