We had an ideal Easter weekend!! The weather was perfect, we finally had a small break from our sickness (for only the weekend mind you), there was plenty of yummy food and good talk to go around. We were so excited to host two of my siblings and their significant others. On Friday the Andersons came into town with their two little ones and I was able to watch their babies while they went on a lunch date to In-N-Out. The kids were so thrilled for some more cousins to play with. That night we had Kelsey and her boyfriend Josh join us for fries and fun! Saturday we dyed easter eggs (well, at least Nate and Tausha did this activity with the kiddos while Jared and I were car shopping), exchanged gifts, went to women's conference and played outside.

Sunday morning everyone searched for the hidden Easter baskets and had fun enjoying the spoils from the Easter bunny!! For the record, Nate was the last one to find his Easter basket...We hosted Easter Brunch then went to part of church. All the kids wore matching Easter outfits made by Nana and they turned out so cute! We came home and enjoyed some relaxing time outside while Tausha taught the kids about the meaning of Easter and the last week of Christ's life.

We bribed the kids to participate in a photo shoot and these were the best options out of approximately 100 photos. The live chicks were not as helpful or cute as you might hope. LOL. They pooped all over the Easter basket, much to Lillian's dismay, then tried to fly out of the photo. Good times. We followed it all up with an Easter egg hunt and an Easter feast. We even talked Josh into inviting his sister Hannah to join us for the end of the day.
