Jonas Baby Blessing

We had so much fun having family here to participate in Jonas’ baby blessing and the week leading up to it.  Kelsey, Brian and Jared's brother Greg drove out from USU (yay for them coming on their spring break when I'm sure they had more exciting options) and got here Sat. night after my mom’s flight.  A couple days later Maren, Greg's girlfriend joined the party, followed by my Dad, Jared's other brother and parents a couple days after that.  Saying we had a full house is an understatement.  My Grandma, Aunt & Uncle and cousin also came the day of the blessing to add to the fun!  I had a generous friend offer for some of them to stay at her house, but with the timing of people coming and going, we were able to pull it off.

The kids got completely spoiled (and so did I)!   I don't think I had to give baths, brush teeth, read books or feed kids hardly at all the entire week.  They had a rude awakening this week when it was just me.  What?? No entertainment committee to take us to the dollar store, on nature hikes, to Petco, Chuck E Cheese, read books, play a game etc. etc.?!!  We actually have to do chores?!

 I, of course, failed to take many pictures in the rush of people, food, etc. but we had a lot of fun hosting everyone for a dinner after church.  We had almost two whole pews taken up at church so we felt a lot of support. It's so great to be able to share these special times with family.  Jonas was a little angel and smiled up at Jared while he was giving the blessing.  Jared did a great job and I am so grateful to have him as my husband and father of our children.
