Saturday Night

I know, I know...two posts on a Saturday night.  Was I bored or what??  Actually, tonight was our babysitting swap that we do every other Saturday with two other families. One lucky set of parents watches 9 kids ages 7 and under and the other two couples get to have date nights.  Tonight was my chance to have a well deserved date night with my hubby and, of course, the girls get these horrible sounding coughs and runny noses.  Go figure!

Here were the options:

A. Pretend I'm unaware of the fact that my kids are hacking up their lungs and going through entire boxes of kleenex (not to mention sneezing on anyone within 40 feet of them), and drop them off at the babysitter's.

B.  Do the responsible thing and keep them home, AGAIN, after we've been inside ALL WEEK due to extremely rainy weather.

I went with option B so Jared picked up some Mexican food (for us) and McDonald's (for the kiddos) on his way home from running errands and then we put on a movie for the kids while Jared read a book and I blogged.   I know, not a very good alternative, but the best we could come up with. Don't judge...I was ready for a night off.
