We had a wonderful Christmas and are really enjoying our break from school and other commitments.

Since my first attempt at having a coordinated Christmas picture with all four kids was a failed one, I asked them if they could try to at least sit in the same picture with each other. This is what we got when Jonas demanded that he hold the baby...The girls wanted to make sure she didn't fall down
Jared's mom makes all her grandkids Christmas jammies every year (to carry on the tradition that her mother started), and this is them on Christmas Eve wearing their jammies.
We had Indian food on Christmas Eve and poor Emma paid the price since I ate spicy food while nursing. My mom was helping her get her gas bubbles out and Emma ended up so relaxed she fell asleep!
My parents and brother Brian met us at my Aunt & Uncle's house for a gathering Sunday night and then came to stay at our house the next couple days. We had so much fun having them join us for Christmas and all the festivities. We had a killer breakfast and dinner thanks to a combined effort from my mom, me and my brother. One of the highlights of Christmas was that we were able to talk to my sister serving an LDS mission in Brazil and Jared's brother serving a mission in Chicago. They are only allowed to call home twice a year and we were able to talk to them both for at least a couple minutes!
