Happy Birthday To Me!

Me and the four kids blowing out the candles on my "cake"
The older three kids when we went bowling as a family on my birthday (Thank you to the Titus family)

My family took great care of me on my birthday, but I wasn't trying to draw attention to the fact that I'm getting older, this is actually more of a brag post about my amazing husband.  This is what I got for some of my Christmas & Birthday...Jared's handiwork at my request.  Those who know me know that I really like to organize.  It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside if I can take a disorganized closet and organize it, get rid of extraneous items and make it functional.  So, now that we have our own house I am really trying to think of the most efficient way to do this type of thing.  And, since it is Jared and I, we tried to think of the most frugal way to accomplish it.

These were areas that were really bugging me...My jewelry, wrapping paper/gift bags, ribbon, cooking spices, and kitchen utensils.  So here are the finished jobs.  I should have taken "before/after" pictures to really give the whole picture, but you are lucky to even get these visuals.
My jewelry in my medicine cabinet in my bathroom. MUCH improved from it all being dumped in a drawer where it would get lost/tangled and, worst of all, within the kids' reach
The ribbon attached to the side of my craft cupboard that can be taken off on the short dowels and not fall off the end

My handsome husband on our side yard working his magic!

The spice rack in uniform, labeled jars that don't topple over each other.  And, they fit my measuring spoons inside of them without having to open random lids and dump all over the counter

My wrapping paper and gift bag area that used to all be shoved in a bin.  I would dread wrapping a gift or trying to find tissue paper that wasn't already crumpled up!

Kitchen utensil drawers. I have two of these in different directions so they can hold just the lengths/amount I want them to!
